Message in my family. My aunt just passed away 5 minutes ago. She helped to take care of me when I was younger. She survived a bout of stomach cancer a year ago where they removed almost 3/4 of her stomach. Her cancer was totally gone. About a month and a half ago, she was diagnosed with cancer of the bile ducts. She was way too weak for any cancer treatment and it spread very quickly. She used to weigh 125 before the first cancer and dropped to 89 pounds. With the last cancer she dropped to 65 pounds before she passed. She was only 60 years old. I just have to say that it's a shock to my family and I hope that everyone of you out there spends as much time as possible with your close loved ones. You just may never know when they will leave you behind and move on.

2003 has been a really bad year as 2 of my uncles passed away earlier, my grandmother who is 94 years old and has never been hospitalized had a stroke and is undergoing rehabilitation to regain control of her left side, my beloved cat passed away, someone I truly loved left me, and I myself was in the hospital ER several months back for several days. I had to call an ambulance to take my Dad to the ER on Monday but he is back home now. That is my only good news that my Dad is okay. Now this happens to my aunt. I have one last Organic Chemistry Final tomorrow and I don't think I'll be able to manage. I've been on the brink up to this point, and I am afraid that it's going to overwhelm me. For those of you who know me personally, I am pretty strong, but right now, I don't know. Well, I couldn't wait until 2004 gets here but I think 2003 decided to slap me in the face and remind me that it's still around.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this post as I needed an outlet. If this post is nuked I understand as it is totally NZR. I just needed a moment of reflection and needed to let my mind go somewhere else. Thanks again. I guess I still have my health (somewhat).
